Puree peeled papaya with lime juice and sugar until smooth. Fill glasses with crushed ice and then pour the papaya mixture into each glass, filling about ¼ of the way up. Top off the glasses with 2 oz. of cachaça each and then stir to combine. Garnish with extra lime wedges and serve immediately.
Note: For sugared lime rim, simply mix lime zest with sugar and then take a lime around the edge of the glass and dip into the sugar lime mixture before filling with ice.
